Decentralized artificial intelligence project FLOCK has integrated Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, to support FLOCK token transfers across multiple blockchain networks, marking a significant expansion of the project’s multi-chain capabilities.
FLOCK announced the integration on Aug. 12 through its official X account. The move enables FLOCK to operate as a Chainlink Cross-Chain Token, giving users access to token transfers across Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain.
The integration allows FLOCK tokens to move across five blockchain networks through Chainlink CCIP, reducing friction for users who operate across different ecosystems.
Chainlink CCIP is a decentralized interoperability protocol designed to facilitate communication and asset transfers between separate blockchain networks. It provides developers with standardized infrastructure for building cross-chain applications and enables supported tokens to move between networks without requiring users to depend on separate bridging systems.
For FLOCK, becoming a Cross-Chain Token expands the utility of its native asset while creating a more consistent experience for holders across supported networks. Token holders can transfer FLOCK between the five chains, potentially making the asset more accessible and supporting greater liquidity across decentralized markets.
FLOCK Strengthens Its Multi-Chain Strategy
