Tata Elxsi, a design and technology entity of the Tata Group that focuses on the automobile industry, has disclosed a collaboration with Cultos Global. As per the BSE filing, the company has revealed that the collaboration is intended to create a pioneering Driver Reward Program.
The objective of the program is to meticulously observe the conduct of a driver by utilizing the comprehensive analytics of the TETHER-connected vehicle platform, which prioritizes cloud-based technology. Furthermore, it utilizes advanced technologies such as ADAS and driver monitoring capabilities to evaluate the driving behavior. A scorecard will be employed by the mechanism to facilitate driving, which will then be converted into tokens. The device will serve as a unique digital identifier for the user and can be utilized throughout the entire ecosystem.
Through this process, the platform will be able to recognize the driving habits of a driver. The monitoring system for driver behavior will utilize a blockchain model that ensures both high trust and privacy, thereby guaranteeing complete confidentiality during the compilation of driving data.
The insights derived from this program’s data will be utilized by automakers, insurance companies, and fleet proprietors. These entities can utilize this data to enhance the safety and reliability of systems related to mobility.
