Layer-1 Blockchain Tectum Unveils New Roadmap with Exciting Product Launches

Major Upgrades and Innovations Ahead

Tectum, recognized as the fastest layer-1 blockchain, recently shared a comprehensive update to its roadmap, introducing several innovative products, including the much-anticipated SoftNote Wallet Mobile App. This detailed plan is segmented into two distinct phases, each encompassing substantial upgrades to the network and its applications, both in live and testnet environments.

The initial phase, scheduled for launch by September 1, 2024, promises several crucial updates. Tectum intends to deploy its private blockchain and decentralized ledger, featuring a foundational validator node consensus protocol reminiscent of the Solana staking model. This phase is also set to provide developer-oriented features, such as an API designed to connect their Light Node to the private blockchain, allowing access to the SoftNote Wallet through conventional login methods. These enhancements will enable developers to mint, burn, blacklist, send, and transfer ownership of custom tokens. Notably, transactions via the Light Nodes will incur a nominal fee of only 0.1% of the transaction value, capped at a maximum of $1, contingent on approval from Validator Nodes and the originating Light Node.

A significant highlight of this phase is the launch of the SoftNote Wallet Mobile App, available for both Android and iOS devices. This app will incorporate the wallet’s latest features, including the upgraded Mint House section, providing users with an enhanced digital asset management experience.

Second Phase: Public Blockchain and Developer Engagement

The second phase of Tectum’s roadmap will see the introduction of its Public Blockchain in Testnet mode. During this period, developers will participate in a hackathon to rigorously test various features on the world’s fastest layer-1 blockchain network. The hackathon will focus on the minting and management of custom tokens, as well as the creation, transfer, and burning of custom SoftNote Bills. To support this initiative, Tectum plans to offer access to the testnet blockchain’s source code, SDK, API, and the TectumCore.exe application, facilitating a comprehensive evaluation and optimization of the system.

Tectum’s claim to fame as the fastest layer-1 blockchain is underpinned by its ability to process an impressive 3.5 million transactions per second. The network employs a proof of utility consensus mechanism that ensures efficient transaction processing through trusted nodes. By implementing layered transaction processing, Tectum effectively mitigates traffic congestion and delays, while maintaining transaction privacy through the use of zero-knowledge proofs.

Product Portfolio and Technological Edge

Among Tectum’s flagship products is the SoftNote Wallet, which offers users a seamless interface for managing digital assets. Additionally, the SoftNote Bills enhance the utility of Bitcoin by enabling frictionless transactions. Another notable product is the X-Factor Authenticator, a robust quantum-proof three-factor authentication protocol designed to provide superior security.

Tectum is the brainchild of Crispmind, a well-established intellectual property and software development firm. Crispmind has a track record of developing secure messaging, user authentication, blockchain, distributed ledgers, and cryptocurrency solutions, catering to both private enterprises and governmental institutions. The firm’s dedication to innovation and simplicity is evident in its mission to provide straightforward solutions for complex digital challenges, empowering individuals and businesses to thrive in the evolving digital landscape.

This strategic roadmap underscores Tectum’s commitment to pioneering advancements in blockchain technology, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry. The upcoming product launches and network upgrades are poised to enhance the capabilities and reach of Tectum, driving further adoption and innovation in the blockchain space.
