MoonPay is expanding access to tokenized investment products through a partnership with WisdomTree that connects its payment infrastructure with WisdomTree Prime, the asset manager’s digital investment platform.
The collaboration is intended to make it easier for retail investors to access blockchain-based investment products by allowing MoonPay’s payment infrastructure to be integrated directly into the WisdomTree Prime experience. MoonPay said its ecosystem now includes more than 30 million registered accounts.
The arrangement gives those users another potential route into tokenized financial products, including WisdomTree’s Government Money Market Digital Fund, known by the ticker WTGXX.
The partnership aims to reduce payment and onboarding barriers for retail investors seeking access to tokenized funds by combining WisdomTree’s blockchain-based investment products with MoonPay’s established card and bank-transfer infrastructure.
WTGXX brings traditional finance onto blockchain rails
