A strategic partnership has been established between NEOM and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) to accelerate the development of the Web3 ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. By pooling their expertise and resources, the initiative aims to launch accelerator programs designed to provide selected startups with mentorship, funding opportunities, and valuable industry connections.
As an initial milestone of this collaboration, Outlier Ventures, a globally recognized Web3 accelerator, has partnered with NEOM and NTDP to introduce the FutureSpark Base Camp Accelerator Program. This initiative represents Saudi Arabia’s first deep-tech Web3 accelerator, with ten startups selected for the program’s inaugural cohort following a meticulous application process hosted on Outlier Ventures’ platform.
Empowering Startups Through a Structured Program
The 12-week accelerator program, which commenced in October 2024 in Riyadh, concluded with an intensive four-day workshop in NEOM from January 12 to 15. The initiative has been instrumental in helping entrepreneurs refine their business strategies and strengthen their market positioning. With tailored mentorship and access to a broad network of industry experts, participants have been equipped with the necessary tools to navigate the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.
Through specialized workshops, networking opportunities, and practical resources provided by Outlier Ventures, the program fosters a collaborative ecosystem that supports the growth and development of promising startups. This initiative enables participants to gain critical insights and leverage industry expertise, facilitating their ability to compete successfully in the dynamic technology sector.
Supporting Innovation Across Key Sectors
The partnership between NEOM and NTDP is dedicated to backing the most promising entrepreneurs across vital technology domains. With a particular emphasis on industries where Saudi Arabia exhibits significant potential—including cognitive cities, artificial intelligence, digital identity, and gaming—the selected startups gain access to crucial resources essential for establishing leading-edge ventures.
By aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the FutureSpark Base Camp Accelerator Program plays a crucial role in fostering early-stage innovation and driving technological progress within the country. The initiative contributes to the advancement of the local deep-tech Web3 sector, promoting cutting-edge developments that support Saudi Arabia’s broader ambitions in digital transformation and technological leadership.
