The collaboration is aimed at merging traditional financial indexing with blockchain-driven market infrastructure to support the evolving landscape of on-chain securities and investment products.
Combining Blockchain and Direct Indexing
The partnership seeks to harness the strengths of both entities by integrating Syntax Direct’s direct indexing capabilities into Prometheum ATS’s trading environment. This will offer Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and institutional clients the tools to construct customized financial products tied to on-chain assets. According to representatives of Syntax Data, the growth of blockchain-based investment vehicles has highlighted the need for reliable and compliant market data services capable of supporting structured products and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in decentralized ecosystems.
The integration is expected to enable RIAs and financial institutions using Prometheum ATS to develop and launch personalized, data-driven indices, thereby making blockchain-native financial products more accessible and adaptable. Syntax intends to deliver a dedicated index data feed to Prometheum ATS, while in turn, Prometheum ATS will provide on-chain market data to Syntax’s indexing platform.

The collaboration is anticipated to open pathways for a variety of investment offerings such as white-label funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), ETFs, and other financial instruments. These products will be structured around Syntax indices and will benefit from Prometheum’s complete blockchain infrastructure, encompassing issuance, trading, custody, clearing, and settlement processes.
