Real Finance and Anchorage Digital Join Forces for RWA Growth

Real Finance, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible Layer 1 blockchain focused on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, has entered into a strategic partnership with Anchorage Digital to support the complete lifecycle of tokenized assets. The collaboration is expected to cover key functions including issuance, custody, settlement, servicing, and secondary market liquidity.

Real Finance has been developed to facilitate the integration of institutional-grade real-world assets into the digital economy. The platform utilizes a business-integrated consensus model, a risk classification framework, and decentralized governance mechanisms that allow institutions to tokenize, insure, and manage assets transparently on-chain.

Anchorage Digital operates a global digital asset platform that provides institutions with services such as trading, staking, custody, governance, settlement, and stablecoin issuance. The company is also home to the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States and serves institutional clients through multiple regulated entities across several jurisdictions.

Combining Custody and Tokenization Capabilities

Under the agreement, Anchorage Digital’s regulated custody services, treasury management infrastructure, settlement capabilities, and institutional-grade security framework will be integrated with Real Finance’s token issuance platform, asset lifecycle management tools, risk monitoring systems, and programmable financial infrastructure.

The partnership is designed to create a unified framework that supports the full lifecycle of tokenized assets, from issuance and custody to settlement, servicing, and liquidity management.

One of the primary areas of cooperation involves treasury and ecosystem custody. Anchorage Digital will provide regulated custody and treasury infrastructure for the Real Finance ecosystem, including support for its native $ASSET token.

In addition, Anchorage Digital will function as a foundational custody layer for newly launched tokenized financial products on the Real Finance blockchain. This arrangement is intended to encourage broader institutional participation by offering regulated asset protection and management services.

The companies also plan to support each other’s institutional business pipelines. Real Finance is expected to generate additional demand for regulated custody solutions through its network of asset issuers and onboarding initiatives. At the same time, Anchorage Digital will introduce institutional clients to tokenization and blockchain infrastructure services built on the Real Finance platform.

Focus on Institutional Adoption

Ivo Grigorov, Chief Executive Officer of Real Finance, explained that both organizations were working together to establish the infrastructure needed for the next generation of tokenized financial markets. He indicated that institutions require more than simple tokenization capabilities and need trusted, regulated solutions that combine custody, servicing, settlement, and lifecycle management. He added that the collaboration seeks to help the industry move beyond experimentation toward operational on-chain capital markets while providing institutions with a more seamless experience.

Nathan McCauley, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anchorage Digital, stated that real-world assets represent one of the strongest use cases for blockchain technology in modernizing capital markets. He noted that institutions require secure and regulated infrastructure capable of supporting custody, settlement, and lifecycle connectivity at scale. According to him, the partnership brings together essential components that can help organizations transition from isolated pilot programs to functioning on-chain capital markets.

The companies emphasized that the tokenized asset sector continues to face fragmentation across issuance, custody, compliance, settlement, servicing, and liquidity functions. Many institutions reportedly view operational trust issues and disconnected counterparties as major obstacles to broader adoption.

The partnership seeks to address these challenges by combining blockchain infrastructure, regulated custody, treasury management, settlement services, and tokenization capabilities within a connected ecosystem.

According to the companies, the framework is intended to support a broad range of tokenized assets, including private credit, investment funds, real estate, structured products, and bank-integrated financial instruments.
