SecureTech Innovations has secured blockchain technology rights and an ownership stake in QSTAK as it moves to commercialize real-world asset tokenization and post-quantum security solutions.
QSTAK Deal Gives Piranha Blockchain Its First Operating Business
SecureTech Innovations Inc. (OTC: SCTH), a developer of artificial intelligence-driven manufacturing systems and blockchain-based digital infrastructure, has completed a series of transactions with QSTAK Holding LLC, providing its Piranha Blockchain subsidiary with its first operating business.
QSTAK develops QSTAKCHAIN, a blockchain platform, and post-quantum technologies designed to secure decentralized applications, manage digital assets and support scalable transactions. Piranha Blockchain focuses on tokenizing real-world assets, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.
Under the agreement, SecureTech acquired a perpetual, exclusive, worldwide license to QSTAK and QSTAKCHAIN technologies, including the blockchain network, public block explorer, mobile wallets for iOS and Android, and a browser extension. The license also covers future improvements to the technology, including post-quantum security features and QSTAK’s exchange infrastructure, which the company said were in advanced development stages.
The transaction excludes certain exchange and decentralized exchange materials, along with related token portals, domain names, brands, and know-how, according to the announced terms.
The license gives SecureTech access to an existing technology stack rather than requiring it to develop a blockchain network and supporting applications from the beginning. The company plans to use the infrastructure to establish commercial operations and expand its presence in blockchain-based asset management.
QSTAK Market to Focus on Real-World Asset Tokenization
SecureTech and QSTAK have also agreed to establish QSTAK Market, a Wyoming limited liability company intended to build tokenization services on the QSTAKCHAIN platform.
Piranha Blockchain owns 57% of the new venture, while QSTAK holds 38% and Craft Capital Management LLC owns the remaining 5%. Craft Capital Management introduced the parties to one another.
SecureTech controls QSTAK Market and expects to consolidate the venture’s operating results into its financial statements. The company has granted the venture a royalty-free license to use the QSTAK technologies for its business activities.
QSTAK Market is expected to focus on converting real-world assets into blockchain-based tokens, potentially enabling digital representations of assets such as real estate and private credit to be managed through blockchain infrastructure.
Separately, SecureTech acquired a net 15% ownership interest in QSTAK for $4.5 million. The consideration was paid in newly issued SecureTech Series A Preferred Stock rather than cash.
The company said the investment strengthens its relationship with QSTAK’s technology team and provides a platform for expanding its business. SecureTech also expects to generate its initial revenue from the new venture during the current fiscal quarter, although QSTAK Market has not yet reported revenue.
Post-Quantum Security and Commercial Expansion
SecureTech President and Chief Executive J. Scott Sitra said the transactions moved Piranha Blockchain from a planned initiative into an operating business. He indicated that access to an existing blockchain, wallet, and block explorer would accelerate commercialization, while QSTAK’s post-quantum development program could support future security offerings.
Post-quantum cryptography aims to protect digital systems against attacks using sufficiently powerful quantum computers. As blockchain networks and digital asset platforms expand, technologies designed to withstand potential quantum threats could become increasingly relevant to long-term infrastructure security.
The deal also comes amid growing interest in real-world asset tokenization. The article’s cited market figures put assets represented on public blockchains at approximately $14 billion in January, rising 66% to about $23 billion by mid-March. Tokenized U.S. Treasury products, money-market funds, gold, and equities were among the areas contributing to that expansion.
