South Korea’s ICT leader SK Planet and Animoca Brands’ web3 platform, Mocaverse, have entered into a strategic collaboration to introduce blockchain-powered experiences for SK Planet’s extensive community. This partnership aims to create seamless digital ecosystems, leveraging Mocaverse’s Realm SDK and MOCA Coin to onboard new users into the evolving web3 landscape.
SK Planet, known for operating OK Cashbag—the largest loyalty program in South Korea with over half of the population as users—will integrate Mocaverse’s technologies to offer its 8 million KYC-verified users a unified digital experience. By January 2025, these users will have access to a single-login system with a unified digital identity and a reputation stack.

MOCA Coin: Pioneering Utility in South Korea
A significant aspect of this partnership is SK Planet’s adoption of MOCA Coin as its primary utility token. MOCA Coin, a foundational asset in the Mocaverse ecosystem, will serve as the first crypto token in South Korea integrated into a key national digital service.
