Team Vitality Signs Korean Midlaner FIESTA Through Late 2026

LEC Organization Adds New Talent Following Spring Split Exit

French esports organization Team Vitality has signed South Korean League of Legends player An Hyeon-seo, better known by his in-game name FIESTA, on a one-split contract that runs through November 16, 2026. The move comes after the team’s early exit from the 2026 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring Split playoffs as the organization looks to strengthen its roster ahead of the remainder of the season.

The agreement gives Team Vitality an opportunity to evaluate the 23-year-old midlaner during a single competitive split before deciding whether to pursue a longer-term commitment. The signing was initially reported in late June 2026, with the contract scheduled to conclude in mid-November.

Team Vitality has signed South Korean midlaner An Hyeon-seo, known as FIESTA, on a one-split contract through November 16, 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen its League of Legends roster.

FIESTA Replaces Humanoid in Midlane

FIESTA joins Team Vitality after replacing Marek Brázda, widely known by his in-game name Humanoid, in the team’s midlane position. The roster change follows the organization’s disappointing Spring Split campaign, which ended with an earlier-than-expected playoff elimination.

Before adopting the FIESTA in-game identity, the player competed under the alias Lint. Most recently, he represented BNK FEARX Youth, the developmental roster of the South Korean esports organization BNK FEARX. His experience includes more than 200 professional matches across regional competitions, reflecting several years of competitive play within Korea’s developmental League of Legends ecosystem.

Although his recorded tournament earnings remain relatively modest at approximately $15,500, his career history indicates consistent participation in second-tier professional competition rather than appearances in the largest international tournaments. Team Vitality will likely view the upcoming split as an opportunity to assess whether his domestic experience can translate into success within Europe’s premier League of Legends competition.

The signing also marks a notable milestone for the organization, as FIESTA becomes the first South Korean player to represent Team Vitality since Kyeong Gyu-tae, better known by the in-game name Photon.

Established Esports Brand Maintains Blockchain Partnership

Since joining the League of Legends EMEA Championship as a permanent partner organization in 2019, Team Vitality has established itself as one of Europe’s most recognizable esports brands. The organization regularly competes in the region’s top League of Legends competition while maintaining a presence across several other esports titles.

The one-split agreement provides Team Vitality with an opportunity to evaluate FIESTA’s performance before determining whether to extend the partnership beyond the 2026 season.

Beyond its competitive operations, Team Vitality has continued to maintain partnerships with companies from the blockchain sector. Among its most prominent collaborations is its sponsorship agreement with Tezos, a layer-1 blockchain platform. The partnership reflects a broader trend within the esports industry, where blockchain and digital technology companies have increasingly entered sponsorship agreements with professional gaming organizations to expand brand visibility and engage digitally focused audiences.

The relationship with Tezos has kept blockchain technology connected to Team Vitality’s commercial strategy while the organization continues to develop its competitive roster. Although the latest player acquisition is focused on strengthening on-stage performance rather than blockchain initiatives, the existing sponsorship illustrates the continuing intersection between esports and emerging digital technologies.

Team Vitality’s continued partnership with Tezos highlights the growing role of blockchain companies in esports sponsorships as organizations seek new commercial opportunities alongside competitive development.

The addition of FIESTA signals Team Vitality‘s intention to rebuild following its Spring Split disappointment while maintaining flexibility through a short-term contract. As the organization prepares for the remainder of the 2026 season, the new signing will be closely watched to determine whether he can help improve the team’s performance and earn a longer-term place on the roster.
