ZAN Unveils Ultra-Low-Latency Web3 RPC Infrastructure

ZAN Targets Faster Blockchain Access With Sub-30ms Responses

ZAN, the Web3 technology brand under Ant Digital Technologies, has highlighted a new performance benchmark for blockchain infrastructure, reporting average Remote Procedure Call (RPC) response times of below 30 milliseconds across the Asia-Pacific region and API throughput up to three times higher than the industry standard.

The infrastructure was showcased at TOKEN2049, where ZAN presented its approach to improving blockchain connectivity for decentralized applications, trading systems and other high-concurrency Web3 platforms. The company said the improvements are designed to address latency, stability and scalability challenges that can affect applications operating across increasingly fragmented blockchain networks.

ZAN Node combines multi-region deployment, intelligent routing, customized network optimization, caching and data-access improvements to deliver sub-30ms RPC performance while supporting large-scale blockchain workloads.

RPC nodes act as communication gateways between decentralized applications and blockchain networks. They process requests such as wallet balances, transaction submissions, smart contract interactions and on-chain data queries. Conventional public RPC infrastructure can experience delays during periods of heavy traffic, network congestion or regional connectivity problems, potentially affecting transaction execution and application responsiveness.

Network Architecture Drives Lower Latency

ZAN said its performance improvements result from coordinated optimization across the network path rather than relying on faster individual servers. The infrastructure uses customized TCP optimization, intelligent traffic routing, multi-region node deployment and data caching to reduce the time required to process requests.

The company has also deployed node clusters close to major blockchain validators and infrastructure hubs. This physical co-location reduces the distance that requests need to travel over public networks and can lower round-trip times. ZAN said some validator-co-located nodes can achieve RTT measurements of between 2 and 5 milliseconds.

Its intelligent routing engine continuously evaluates factors including node health, synchronization status, block height and computational load. Requests can then be directed toward available nodes with suitable performance characteristics. ZAN said this approach allows traffic to be redistributed when individual clusters encounter unusually high demand.

The infrastructure is designed to process more than 2 billion requests per day, according to the company.

Support for Ethereum, Solana and Layer 2 Networks

ZAN has applied network-specific optimizations across multiple blockchain ecosystems rather than using identical configurations for every network.

For Ethereum, the company operates dedicated full-node clusters intended to improve mempool propagation, historical state queries and transaction broadcasting. Its Ethereum services support Mainnet, Sepolia and Holesky environments, as well as features such as archive-node access and gas-price data.

For Solana, ZAN offers a trading acceleration service that integrates Stake-Weighted Quality of Service and Jito routing. The company reported that 95% of transactions using the service can achieve full confirmation within one second under its stated conditions. Its Solana infrastructure covers Mainnet, Devnet and Testnet environments.

ZAN also provides specialized services for Layer 2 networks including Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, zkSync Era and Starknet. These services use techniques such as direct sequencer connectivity, multi-path broadcasting and protocol-specific optimization to improve transaction delivery and finality.

The platform now supports more than 47 mainnet and testnet networks, allowing developers to manage blockchain RPC access through a unified infrastructure and a single API key.

Enterprise Access and Developer Benefits

ZAN said its unified API gateway reduces the operational burden associated with maintaining separate endpoints and credentials for different blockchain networks. Developers can use the infrastructure for applications requiring frequent on-chain queries, including DeFi platforms, gaming applications, social applications and institutional data systems.

The company also offers dedicated node infrastructure for enterprise customers requiring exclusive resources, higher request quotas and more consistent performance. Its enterprise offering includes a reported 99.9% network availability service-level commitment supported by automated monitoring and failover systems.

For developers and startups, ZAN provides a free tier with up to 150 million credits per month. The company said this allows teams to develop and test applications without immediately investing in their own node infrastructure, which can require server capacity, storage, synchronization and specialized operational resources.

Broader Web3 Infrastructure Strategy

The RPC service forms part of ZAN’s broader infrastructure portfolio, which also includes ZK Acceleration and Expert Audit services. ZK Acceleration is designed to improve zero-knowledge proof generation for applications involving rollups, privacy transactions, bridges and machine-learning workloads.

Its security offering includes penetration testing, AI-assisted auditing, static analysis and formal verification for smart contracts. ZAN said its broader technology portfolio is supported by 20 security patents and 50 conference papers.

At TOKEN2049 and related Web3 events, ZAN has positioned lower-latency infrastructure as an important requirement for wider blockchain adoption. By reducing network response times while expanding multi-chain coverage, ZAN is targeting developers and enterprises that require faster, more predictable blockchain connectivity for high-frequency and business-critical applications.

The company said developers can independently evaluate RPC performance across its supported networks through its free access tier, providing a way to assess latency and connectivity before deploying applications at scale.
