Hyra and XDC join forces to fuse AI compute with trade-grade blockchain

Partnership targets DePIN, RWA, and institutional rails

hyra partners with xdc

Hyra Network has revealed a strategic collaboration with XDC Network that combines decentralized AI infrastructure with enterprise-facing blockchain architecture. The tie-up is being described as a pivotal development in the convergence of Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks and institutional capital markets, with both parties seeking to unlock new efficiencies in cross-border trade and finance.

Hyra is positioned as an award-winning supplier of decentralized AI compute. Its framework runs atop a Layer-3 blockchain and claims more than 2.7 million connected devices across 205 countries, collectively producing over 360,000 TFLOPS of compute throughput. The company is positioning itself as an alternative source of GPU power in contrast to centralized hyperscale providers.

XDC Network, meanwhile, has emerged as a blockchain stack tailored to enterprise applications, particularly in trade finance and tokenization of real-world assets. Its acquisition of Contour was framed as a move to deepen trade finance functionality and reinforce robustcoin integration. The network is already linked with Archax to bring tokenized money market products from BlackRock, Fidelity, and State Street onto chain. Two-second confirmation times and ultra-low fees have been cited as attributes appealing to institutions that are retrofitting legacy infrastructure with programmable rails.

AI compute meets tokenized finance and settlement layers

Under the partnership, Hyra’s distributed GPU pool will enable XDC to extend smart contract logic with machine learning-driven inference and predictive analytics. In return, XDC’s compliant enterprise network furnishes Hyra with a settlement-grade blockchain foundation that interoperates with traditional finance while satisfying regulatory and standards expectations.

A central use case sits in the trade finance market, a multi-trillion-dollar sector still plagued by manual processes. The combination of AI-assisted data processing from Hyra with XDC’s infrastructure for digitizing instruments such as Letters of Credit is expected to compress timelines and cost structures in global commerce.

The alliance positions both networks to capture a share in the expanding real-world asset tokenization wave. Forecasts indicate that RWA tokenization could scale from roughly eleven and a half billion dollars in early 2025 to as high as thirty trillion dollars by 2030. XDC brings incumbent-grade distribution through institutional linkages, while Hyra contributes decentralized compute capable of handling large-scale analytic workloads tied to tokenized asset lifecycles.

Tackling GPU centralization as institutional demand surges

The partnership also addresses a structural constraint in AI — the concentration of GPU capacity under a handful of large cloud operators. Hyra’s distributed network is framed as a path to cheaper and more decentralized compute supply. Combined with XDC’s low-cost settlement environment, the configuration is presented as enabling AI applications to run without reliance on centralized cloud stacks.

The move lands at a moment of synchronized acceleration in both AI and blockchain. Capital flows into AI-linked blockchain protocols reportedly exceeded two and a half billion dollars in the first half of 2025, signaling deep investor conviction. Hyra has recently approved a half-billion-dollar innovation fund and articulated a timeline targeting a Nasdaq listing by 2030.

XDC, for its part, has been building aggressively — launching a second RWA Tokenization Accelerator with Plug and Play, taking Platinum Sponsor rank at the RWA London Summit 2025, and extending omnichain reach through LayerZero and Stargate integrations to link with Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, and multiple other chains.

The collaboration aligns Hyra with a network recognized for regulatory alignment and institutional onboarding — a prerequisite for translating decentralized AI infrastructure into enterprise-grade production environments. Industry watchers view the partnership as an early signal of how AI compute and compliant blockchain rails may co-evolve to underpin the next phase of financial and industrial digitization.
