BIGG Digital Assets Inc. (CSE: BIGG, OTCQX: BBKCF, WKN: A2PS9W), a global player in the Digital Asset, Blockchain, and Metaverse sectors, has introduced new advanced training modules for its Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI) program. This initiative is part of BIGG’s ongoing efforts to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The new modules, launched by Blockchain Intelligence Group (BIG), a subsidiary of BIGG, are aimed at addressing the growing need for expertise in cryptocurrency investigations and compliance.

New Advanced Training Modules

The latest additions to the CCI program include Module 9: Hacks and Exploits in the Cryptocurrency Space and Module 10: Cryptocurrency Compliance and Risk Management for Financial Institutions. These modules are designed to provide in-depth training on the emerging threats and compliance challenges associated with digital assets.

Module 9 delves into the tactics and techniques used by cybercriminals to exploit blockchain networks and digital assets. This module uses detailed case studies of significant cryptocurrency hacks, exploits, and exit scams to illustrate the evolving nature of these threats. Participants will learn how to detect early warning signs of potential hacks and best practices for mitigating associated risks. The module also covers the role of the dark web in facilitating these criminal activities, offering insights into how cybercriminals operate within this hidden online space.

Module 10 is tailored for compliance officers, risk managers, and executives within financial institutions. It focuses on developing robust cryptocurrency risk management frameworks and controls. The curriculum covers regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and due diligence processes essential for safeguarding financial institutions from cryptocurrency-related risks. This module also offers a standalone certification, Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator – Compliance (CCI-C), highlighting its importance and relevance in today’s financial landscape.

Reinforcing Commitment to Excellence

Lance Morginn, President of BIG, emphasized the importance of these new modules in light of the increasing adoption of cryptocurrency globally. He noted that as digital assets become more mainstream, cybercriminals are developing more sophisticated methods to exploit them. These new training modules are designed to provide investigators, compliance teams, and risk professionals with the latest intelligence and skills needed to identify and counter emerging threats, thereby protecting their organizations from potential vulnerabilities.

Robert Whitaker, who oversees Law Enforcement Affairs at BIG, reiterated the company’s dedication to staying at the forefront of cryptocurrency training and investigations. He stated that these new modules are a testament to BIG’s commitment to continuously updating its curriculum to address the rapidly changing landscape of digital assets and emerging risks.

Comprehensive Training and Certification

The new modules, which are now available as stand-alone courses or as part of BIG’s comprehensive CCI program, complete the Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator – Advanced certification course, covering modules 6 to 10 (CCI-A). This advanced certification is valid for one year, and professionals must complete and pass a top-up course annually to retain their certification. This requirement ensures that certified professionals remain updated with the latest developments and best practices in cryptocurrency investigations and compliance.

BIG’s foundational CCI certification has been completed by over 2,500 professionals worldwide, including members of law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency businesses. The CCI courses are developed and taught by seasoned experts, including former federal agents and compliance officers, providing participants with practical, real-world insights and expertise.

Future Prospects and Industry Impact

The introduction of these advanced modules is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of professionals involved in cryptocurrency investigations and compliance. By providing comprehensive training that addresses both the technical and regulatory aspects of digital assets, BIGG Digital Assets and its subsidiary Blockchain Intelligence Group are playing a crucial role in shaping the future of cryptocurrency risk management and compliance.

As the cryptocurrency landscape continues to evolve, the need for specialized training and certification programs like those offered by BIG will only increase. These programs not only equip professionals with the necessary skills to tackle current challenges but also prepare them for future developments in the digital asset space. Through its innovative training initiatives, BIG is helping to build a more secure and resilient cryptocurrency ecosystem.
