- Guard extends the functionality of B. Desktop to mobile devices, with a comprehensive suite of tools set to launch by the end of 2024. This includes malware protection, a system optimizer and mobile booster, a password vault, remote access, a VPN, a safe browser, and a crypto wallet.
Strategic Transition and Future Plans
BLOCX has announced significant plans to enhance its platform and services within a short timeframe. The platform will transition its Proof-of-Work currency algorithm from X11 to Autolykos2, making it ASIC-resistant and exclusively GPU-minable. This change, inspired by the ERGO blockchain, aims to promote decentralization and prevent the centralization seen with ASIC mining, allowing users with powerful GPUs to efficiently mine the currency at home.
In addition to this transition, BLOCX will launch B. Marketplace on July 10. Automated Machine Adding: This method requires no technical knowledge. Users simply click ‘Add Machine,’ download the client, and follow the instructions. The client automatically detects hardware and lists it on the marketplace, allowing users to set pricing and availability.
Headless Machine or Manual Adding: For more advanced setups, users can download dependencies from within the terminal and manually add the machine using guided commands.
To address potential issues such as accidental IP changes during the rental period, the client is designed to detect and automatically update the IP within the marketplace, ensuring continuous operation.
Bridging with Nuco.Cloud
Looking ahead, BLOCX plans to bridge its marketplace with Nuco.Cloud. This integration will enable users to rent out devices on both platforms directly from within BLOCX’s marketplace, thereby maximizing earning potential.
