Broxus Unveils TON Factory to Boost TON-Based App Scalability

New infrastructure aims to power high-throughput blockchain projects

broxus unveils ton factory to boost ton-based app scalability

Broxus has officially launched TON Factory, a dedicated infrastructure initiative focused on enhancing scalability for high-performance decentralized applications on The Open Network (TON). The announcement, made via Telegram and X on April 30, signals a significant step toward addressing throughput demands for developers building on TON’s unique technology stack.

The introduction of TON Factory marks a strategic addition to the TON ecosystem, which has been actively seeking tools to support more robust and scalable Web3 projects. The platform has been described as a scalability accelerator, offering a comprehensive toolkit designed specifically for throughput-intensive applications. These include decentralized exchanges (DEXs), blockchain-based games, and other applications demanding rapid and secure transaction processing.

Developer-Centric Tools and Modular Infrastructure

Broxus has positioned TON Factory as a resource optimized for developers building on the TON Virtual Machine (TVM), particularly those working on Layer-2 solutions and application-specific blockchains (appchains). According to the company, the platform’s infrastructure is modular and deeply integrated with the TON base layer. This integration is intended to ensure that while performance scaling is prioritized, the essential interoperability within the TON ecosystem remains intact.

The offering provides tools and support frameworks geared toward simplifying the development process. From modular development kits to integration pipelines, the TON Factory aims to deliver a full-stack solution for teams creating complex, high-speed decentralized systems. These capabilities are expected to appeal especially to projects that require not just scale, but also compatibility with the core TON network protocols.

Powered by Tycho: A Fusion of TVM and DAG

At the heart of TON Factory’s scalability solution is Tycho, a new protocol engineered by Broxus. This protocol combines the TON Virtual Machine with Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)-based consensus mechanisms. The architecture has been developed to achieve near-instant finality, a critical feature for real-time blockchain applications, and is theoretically capable of processing up to 35,000 transactions per second (TPS).

This technical framework is intended to serve as the foundation for next-generation applications that require low latency and high throughput—use cases that traditional blockchain consensus models often struggle to support efficiently. By marrying TVM’s virtualized computation environment with the DAG consensus model, Tycho seeks to deliver both speed and scalability in a single infrastructure layer.

Strategic Contribution to TON’s Ecosystem Growth

The TON ecosystem has been steadily expanding, attracting interest from developers and enterprises seeking a performance-oriented blockchain. With the introduction of TON Factory, Broxus aims to catalyze this growth by equipping builders with the tools and architecture needed to support modern use cases.

The project aligns with TON’s broader vision of building a high-throughput, user-ready blockchain environment, and Broxus appears to be taking a leading role in accelerating that vision. As decentralized applications evolve in complexity and demand, infrastructure such as TON Factory may prove essential to meeting those requirements without compromising network cohesion.

By launching TON Factory, Broxus has reinforced its commitment to enabling scalable innovation within the TON network. The combination of advanced tooling, integrated developer support, and novel consensus models positions the platform as a foundational piece in TON’s next phase of growth.
