On Monday, the Seoul Metropolitan Government unveiled the initial phase of Metaverse Seoul, which offers a range of services. According to the municipal administration, it was the initial large city in the world to build a metaverse platform and operate a public sector facility.
The platform’s functions are categorized into five categories: economics, education, tax, administration, and interaction. Users may study e-books released by the city government and learn about the city’s important policies by watching promotional movies that are broadcast on the façade of the Seoul Metropolitan Library.
The mayor’s headquarters has been replicated in a metaverse realm, allowing people to provide feedback or get answers about municipal administration. Metaverse Seoul also allows users to have different administrative papers produced and to utilize a chat consultation facility for civil grievances.
